I am an anxious person in general, so when it came to needing dental surgery, I was very reluctant to go through with it. Rashmi was incredible at calming me down and making sure I felt comfortable and completely in control. Then David performed the surgery, and it was so quick and painless. The slogan 'Pain-Free Dental' perfectly sums up this dentist practice. I highly recommend them to both nervous and non-nervous patients, as this dental practice is incredible—it will be my main dentist going forward. Thank you so much, Rashmi and David. I truly appreciate you both!

I would like to recommend Southport road dental to anyone who is putting off going to the dentist, who is nervous, frightened or anxious, as I was. I had treatment 48 hours ago and am Soo happy with how I am feeling, the result is amazing. The pain minimal. All the staff are lovely, I was treated professionally and with empathy. I cannot thank Rashmi enough for her patience, kindness and understanding of very nervous patients. My first consultation was in January and I have just had my check up today after having four wisdom teeth extracted and my gums laser deep cleaned. The experience was so positive due to the sedation, in fact I cannot remember anything after sitting in the chair! I cannot believe how far I have come this year and this is all down to Rashmi and her team.

I want to say thank you for your wonderful treatment of my 13yr old daughter when injecting her with the anaesthetic for her recent teeth extractions. You were extremely calm and provided a lovely relaxing experience for her. Even though she never mentioned it, I think she was a bit nervous. Would you also thank Jen, the dentist who removed the teeth and filled the cavity, she was also very caring and professional. Thank you for both for making what could be quite a daunting experience relaxing and positive.

I have been visiting Southport Road Dentist for 10 years now, it's by far the best dentist around David my dentist is a top guy who cares about every aspect of your wellbeing not just your teeth we have a great laugh when i go on appointments, also big shout out to Rebecca my hygienist I wouldn't ever see anyone else Rebecca is amazing and does an amazing job everything and enjoys a laugh overall Southport Road is a 10 out of 10 for me i couldn't recommend them highly enough thanks Southport Road.

Excellent dental practice. Made to feel at ease whatever the issues are. Where treatment is needed a full and detailed explanation is given with pros and cons to help with decisions. Regular visits to hygienist is also recommended so you have the best chance of keeping your teeth healthy.

Unfortunately, the dental practice did not take my pre-existing conditions into account. Following standard practice, they did not try to preserve my teeth but instead extracted them. During the attempt to remove an inflamed tooth, it broke. Another practice had to fix this issue. They also ignored my teeth grinding condition. A simple brace could have not only preserved my teeth but also stabilized my jaw.A nurse working alongside the dentist verbally lashed out at me and demanded that I stay quiet, stating that I should not disturb other patients with my complaints of pain.I was so mentally distressed by the experience that, to this day, I have a fear of dental treatments.Now, I have to undergo an extremely expensive reconstruction.

I attended an appointment here as an initial consultation. I have not attended a dentist for many years due to a number of reasons, mainly due to how they made me feel. When I arrived I was greeted, made to feel welcomed and most importantly listened too. There was many tears and feelings of being overwhelmed, however, Rashmi and her team were very supportive and most of all non-judgemental.I had a few appointments to discuss my treatment plan, sedation and results that I wanted. I was sedated under the pain free dentistry which I never thought was possible, however, the team were professional throughout all the planning and I felt at ease being informed of every step of my treatment plan.I have researched dentists for a number of years, booking appointments and cancelling them , due to fear and worry. However, I took the plunge to see Rashmi and I am so happy that I did. I have been on a journey and still have a journey to go however, I would never go anywhere else for dental work. I highly recommend Southport Road Dental Practice to anyone. Even if you drop them an email or see them for an initial consultation you will feel welcomed and not judged. I have a smile I love and feel confident when talking and smiling, which has been a very long time since I felt this way!Cannot thank them enough for everything. Sasha.

I've been scared and avoided going to the dentist for years. Rashmi and David at Southport Rd Dental were recommended to me and I decided to take the plunge. From the moment I spoke to Rashmi, she put my mind at ease. The initial consultation was extremely calm and Rashmi was unbelievably patient with me. Fast forward 10 months and I've had various treatments and Root Canal treatment with sedation. I've even let Rashmi file a tooth without any sedation. I can not fault this practice! I had a full set of braces on for almost 2 years, every time I attended I was seen on time and all the staff are the friendliest I've met. If you are thinking of getting braces I highly recommend coming here and If David does them I know you are in good hands. My only regret is not getting them done sooner.

I was really lucky to stumble across Southport Road dental surgery a long time ago!From the first visit I knew it was a good find. The reception staff make you feel like you are special ,how you find such lovely staff I don't know.Onto the dentists who are second to none & this includes Michelle the hygienist such a lovely person & great at what she does.Rashmi& David are a great couple with nothing too much trouble. If you need an emergency appointment they go out of their way to fit you in. Their friendly approach immediately puts you at ease & you feel more like a friend.Everything they have done to my teeth has been first class so thankyou again can't praise you enough.

Nothing but praise for this dentist. I was absolutely terrified but all of the staff were amazing and I didn't feel a thing! Mark is fantastic! He made sure that my gum health and other teeth were in good shape before working on improving my smile. I am over the moon with my new crowns. I can't praise him enough.

I was recommended this dentist practice, in particular Dr Rashmi. The whole team makes you feel at ease. Having dental anxiety this is very important for me. I opted to have dental sedation. The whole process was amazing from the pre appointments to the aftercare. The sedation itself allowed the work to be done, and everyone's attitude helped me to remain calm. During the pre appointments, Dr Rashmi was able to get me to use different skills to get xrays that I have been unable to do previously. The sedation appointment was also fantastic. Throughout the process, the team checks on you, and nothing is too much trouble. Overall, not only has this experience allowed me to gain confidence in visiting the dentist, but given me the confidence to smile again.

I can’t thank the team at Southport Road Dentist enough. Every person I came into contact with, whether that be over the phone or face to face, did nothing but make the experience as easy and as comfortable as possible. I have felt unhappy about my tooth for a couple of years now. David very kindly gave my tooth a quick polish during a consultation and was able to completely remove the staining that had been bothering me. Prior to the consultation, I was worried that I was going to have to spend a fortune and take on a big job to get my tooth looking better. I left the practice feeling confident, happy and 100% positive that I will return in the future. Thank you so much!

I can’t praise or thank everyone enough, from receptionists and dental nurses to the dentists themselves who provide a friendly comfortable atmosphere for even the most dental-phobic patients - of which I am one! From my first assessment appointment I was patiently listened to and my fear of experiencing pain dealt with by providing sympathetic but professional reassurance. Being faced with the terrifying prospect of needing root canal work, Dr Rashmi took her time to explain the process to be carried out. At no point did I feel rushed into any decisions but with all the facts at my fingertips my selecting sedation whilst the work was carried out proved to be the best decision I’ve ever made. Having been afraid of dentists since a child (now 70+) I now feel I’ve found my “home” at last, where I know I’ll be taken good care of and have access to painless dentistry. Thanks Dr Rashmi and David. And it doesn’t end there - I was contacted the day after to ensure I was ok after sedation with a review examination arranged a few days later for her to ensure the work had been successful. So, if you’re nervous or have a phobic fear then you’ll be in safe hands with Southport Road Dental Practice in Chorley.

Outstanding—Recommended by a friend. Didn’t disappoint.Drs Chattopadhyay and Hickey provided pain free dentistry for me today.I needed a filling and some restoration work. I can genuinely say I haven’t experienced a better service. Rashmi took time to explain and deliver the numbing process, (exceptional attention to detail). David invisibly restored one tooth and built up another.I won’t hesitate to go back in the future.

I approached David at the beginning of February with worries about my smile for my wedding in May. I had a fear of going to the dentist, for over 15years! I cannot recommend this dental practice enough and discovered it when i was researching dental sedation.I have a dental phobia and needed some treatment - from that first phone call where I was distraught just ringing for an appointment, every member of staff has been fantastic, understanding and non judgemental.I had treatment under dental sedation and this has been a complete game changer for me. Rashmi and all the staff are so understanding and patient. They really do care and have everyone's best interests at heart.I'm still anxious, but thanks to this amazing place and caring staff - I hope to one day say 'I had a dental phobia' - not have!

I would highly recommend Southport Rd dental for anyone who is a nervous patient like myself. I hadn’t attended a dentist for many years due to bad experiences at other practices. I knew I needed treatment and I really wanted to address my fears so this time I did my research,I found this practice had great reviews from nervous patients. From my first consultation with Rashmi I knew I was in good hands, it was a totally different experience than I’ve had before. Rashmi understood my concerns and we spoke about how we can work together to overcome them. I was booked in for sedation for some restorative work . I was apprehensive at first as I have had sedation at another practice that didn’t work very well. However this time the sedation worked well and I was able to have a 2 hour long treatment with no memory of it whatsoever! I now have a new found confidence that I can attend regularly, something I never thought would be possible.Everyone goes above and beyond from the reception team to the clinicians.

I had a dental emergency, and after leaving an email telling David what had happened (bridge came loose) He rang me at home and said he would see me immediately. This was Saturday afternoon. He fixed it for me in 30 minutes, and all pain-free of course. Absolutely Marvellous, no hesitation in recommending him.

Wow were do I start, am a very nervous patient, dentist and teeth my biggest fear, hence why I would never go I haven’t been for a very long time, years and years. I felt traumatised by the thought and affected me badly. With support from family and friends I was booked an an appointment with Rashmi, I had my consultation and I was booked in for my treatment, teeth extracted and a deep clean. I will not lie I was very scared, I mean scared. I had my treatment on Friday, I was put at ease, Rashmi is fantastic and so lovely I can’t thank her enough, Lindsey so lovely, both very understanding my fear, did a brilliant job off looking after me, I had the sedation as I was so scared and I didn’t feel any pain at all, I strongly say to others who have this same fear, if I can do it anybody can do it and I highly recommend Rashmi she will look after you

Welcoming, friendly, reassuring, non-judgmental & highly dedicated to their cause. If you’ve ever had negative experiences with previous dentists or are nervous at the thought of going to the dentist- rest assured that you will be in the best possible hands at Southport Road Dental. Their family values shine through-bringing a certain calm to the waiting room. I initially went to see David for teeth straightening options but he immediately spotted I had some issues with my gums that would need to be dealt with first. That’s when I met Rashmi who unwaveringly assured me she could get my gums back to their best possible health so that I could achieve the smile that I’d hoped for, and that she did! Both David, Rashmi & their whole team are incredible at what they do. I couldn’t recommend them more.

At Southport Road Dental clinic I have received outstanding dental care and I rate this practice as the best there is in the area. I see Rashmi, the dentist and Rebecca, the hygienist, at regular intervals but have also seen David and once saw Marc for an emergency appointment. I am happy to recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for high-quality dental treatment. I list below what I see as the key features of this practice and I have tried to explain the reasons for my judgement.It offers the following:• highly skilled professionals who are able to provide advanced dental procedures such as teeth straightening and implants (my husband has had a very successful implant sorted out by David);• a practice that is prepared to invest in the latest technology (I have had a crowned tooth made by 3D printing on the premises in 30 minutes rather than the traditional procedure of removal-temporary crown-final fitting);• care shown in checking ongoing dental health eg. comparison of new X-rays with old, comparison of measurements of gum-line at regular intervals etc. (eg. it was noticed that I was wearing down the surface of a crowned tooth and it was suggested that I would benefit from a dental night guard which has protected the tooth for some years now);• dentists who take time to discuss your care needs, explain the situation and possibilities for treatment and answer your questions; (I have just been concerned about a possible oral cancer which was checked by both David and Rashmi who referred me to a consultant the same day);• minimal waiting times as the staff do their best to see you at your appointment time;• excellent and friendly support staff;• a pleasant environment – all recently modernised with more rooms being built;• a practice that is open long hours to accommodate those who are working;What more can I say except that I feel fortunate that we have this facility here in Chorley.

I hadn’t been to the dentist for 20 years, I was so frightened, but desperate to get my smile back. I had a damaged front tooth and crooked teeth, it was easier not to smile than face my fears. Eventually, I plucked up the courage and went to see David. He was amazing, he was so calming and supportive. He talked me through all my options and understood how scared I was, so advised me to see Rashmi. She was so kind and understood every single thing I was scared about. Between the two of them, I have gone through 18 months of treatment and finally feel confident to smile. It’s not a miracle cure, I’m still nervous, but trust them implicitly and don’t hesitate to make appointments as needed. I can’t thank them enough and can’t recommend them highly enough. I haven’t been to a dentist in years and was extremely nervous about attending. I initially had an appointment with Rashmi who was understanding, caring and thorough in her examination and explanation of what was to be expected in terms of the processes, options and costs, which immediately put me at ease. I then proceeded to have treatment with David, who again was caring, approachable with information and the treatment. The dentists and the nurses did a superb job of making me at ease and comfortable and carrying out the work necessary, to an exemplary standard. I whole heartedly recommend Southport Road Dental.

I came to the Southport Road dental practice in difficulty, unable to arrange the treatment I needed elsewhere, despite seeing another dentist regularly. I was anxious, knowing that I needed a tooth to be extracted. But having had teeth taken out before, I knew it was not a procedure to look forward to. David agreed to see me, and I can only describe the care he gave me as exceptional. He put me at ease straightaway, explained everything thoroughly and I felt no pain at any point. My experience was calm and unrushed, and David's professionalism shone through. Everyone at the practice was friendly and welcoming. I have no hesitation in recommending the practice to others.

A great book written by RashmiI really like this book - "P.S.I love me."It is well thought out and beautifully written, very relevant at a time when many youngsters are being led into trying, as they perceive it , to improve their appearance.There is freedom in her writing and the language is directed to the younger generation.Her strong message is the value of self worth will override the negative peer pressure. It also expresses the importance of strong family values.The content of the book which includes poem and photographs is excellent. It has a refreshing outlook on aesthetic care.I highly recommend it to anyone considering facial rejuvenation.

I would highly recommend Southport Road Dental Practice for anyone who is at all nervous of the dentist. I have been registered at this practice for many years and have always been satisfied with the care and attention given to me.Recently I had problems and Rashmi told me I needed root canal treatment followed by crowns. Being a very anxious person, the thought of undergoing such treatment terrified me.However, I needn't have worried as Rashmi discussed in details all my options and gave me time to think it through.I went ahead, opting for sedation on both appointments.What an experience - I have no memory of the procedures and suffered no pain during them.David, Rashmi and Lesley the dental nurse were wonderful! They really made me feel at ease.Thank you.

Rashmi and her team are amazing and I cannot recommend enough! I recently had an extraction with sedation and it was by far the best dental experience I've ever had.Due to a previous bad experience elsewhere I am a very anxious and nervous patient and just the thought of undergoing another extraction terrified me. Rashmi took time to thoroughly discuss all my options and her reassurance provided me with confidence in my decision. Rashmi has a very patient, caring and professional manner and is very empathetic with her approach. I just knew I was in good hands.The sedation was amazing! I have no memory of the procedure and my nerves just melted away. It was a million times better than my last experience elsewhere with absolutely zero pain!!! I cannot recommend and thank enough!All the staff are really friendly and you are always greeted with a warm welcome which instantly puts you at ease.It was the best experience, I would give 10 stars if I could. So if you're considering it, just do it, you'll never look back!

The staff are professional and make sure that you are fully informed at ease during any treatments. Preventative hygiene visits (twice a year for me) and a yearly check up mean that actual dentistry is rare! Would highly recommend.

I had braces as a child but over the years my teeth have crossed and having seen myself in recent holiday photos I decided to bite the bullet and sort them out. From start to finish it was fantastic. my best friend did not even notice I had had my braces fitted until I beamed at her. Shocking receptionist Lucia, would not give me details of dentists experience/qualifications when asked, would not book me in with the dentist I requested and it was like a sales pitch and pushing me into going with the dentist I didn’t want by telling me that the dentist David I requested an appointment with was not empathic with nervous patients!!

Have visited the practice a few times over the past month! Both Dave and Rashmi are friendly, extremely skilled at their craft and put me at ease straight away. I contacted David 8 months before my wedding day, hoping he could give me straight white teeth! He did not let me down! I was in the chair having my braces fitted withing days, after our first email. I was a little nervous but David made me feel comfortable and reassured.He took the braces off 3 weeks before the wedding then quickly got me set up with teeth whitening.I spent the whole day of my wedding smiling! Knowing that my teeth looked amazing! A friend came to me and said 'every picture I have, you have a massive smile on your face' you should always smile on your wedding day but without the help from David I would have felt uncomfortable smiling with my old teeth!!Thank you so much!!! I'm a patient of David for over a year. I've decided to changed my smile and do braces( Im 39 year old now).Which is happened and I've been told I may need to remove a teeths maybe in a few months time. So I've been told I need to remove just one but I was so nervous for 3 weeks before my app and my visit been booked for the 6th of January.It is pain free dentistry that's what they say ? And it is 100%true 😃 I have a chat with David before the procedures he asked me what I'm afraid etc and he told me to relax. He use a numb gel so didn't feel any discomfort of the injections and he removed my tooth within a second don't even hear a crack sound. He did make sure I've not bleed after procedure as I have a blood condition disease which been checked with my hematology doctor if is safe to do before by David.I highly recommended David as a dentist and orthodontist and looking forward to smile with confidence every day 😄Kind regards Magdalena

I cannot praise this dentist practice enough. I have in the past had bad experiences from dentists and this has made me very apprehensive, to say the least, with visiting dentists. I was that worried about going to the dentist, I have suffered for years and used strong pain killers instead of sorting the problem. Being in pain was no way to live so I decided enough was enough. My partner found Southport Road Dental for me as they advertise pain free dentistry. Given my past experiences I was very sceptical but being in pain again, I needed help. My consultation went well, everyone I met was friendly and my dentist Richa Sharma was amazing, taking time to make me feel calm and relaxed. As I had expected I required a couple of extractions and a filling which were then booked in. I must admit I didn't think I would be able to pluck up the courage to go back but I did to start my treatment. They advertise pain free dentistry and that is exactly what you get. Richa Sharma Is absolutely amazing. She has an amazing knack of being able to make you feel relaxed, explains everything and goes at a pace you are comfortable with. So far I have had one extraction and a filling and have felt nothing during the procedure. I still have more treatment and at the time of writing this, I am psyching myself up for today's visit.I just want to say a huge thank you to Richa and not forgetting Richa's assistant, (I do hope that is the right term) who is absolutely lovely. Would like to give a special thanks to Marc who performed an emergency extraction of my wisdom tooth. My wisdom tooth was giving me a lot of grief, when one night I couldn't put up with it any longer. I rang the next morning and asked for an emergency appointment, the very next day I was called in to see Marc. He was soft spoken and gave me a step by step process of the work he was going to perform. Now I can say that I have absolutely no pain whatsoever and I'm looking to book further work in the future. Review for Southport Road Dental Practice - Pain free Dentistry.Conscious Sedation.Rashmi and David are the most empathic and patient centred Dentists I have ever experienced…When Rashmi offered conscious sedation as a possible solution to my inability to access root canal treatment, I was resistant to say the least!However, Rashmi allayed every fear I had and explained the safety aspects/risks/benefits of conscious sedation for patients like myself, who could otherwise face losing their teeth.I have had 3 conscious sedations for root canal treatments in the last few months. I wish I had accessed it earlier by trusting Rashmi’s Experience, professionalism, patience and genuine care…Following the sedations I had no recollections of the treatment which is a Huge benefit to anxious patients like myself. All 3 sedations were positive experiences enhanced by the amazing team at Southport road - Julie and Lindsey the sedation nurses were calm, reassuring and warmly supportive, as were all the other staff present during my treatments! Attended with a fractured tooth- ended up having prep work done for 2 crown covers?Was given a follow up gir 10 days later.Been in absolute agony now since nerve block wore off!Trying to get an appointment -never had any pain prior to visit!So disheartening - just hope he hasn’t done more damage ….

I have to say this has been the best experience I have had with any dentist. The calm relaxed atmosphere at the Southport Road Dental Practice made my anxiety about seeing the dentist a non issue. Everyone from the receptionists to my dentist made be feel at ease while I was attending my appointment.Pain free dentistry is exactly what I received. The relaxation techniques my dentist used while I was being treated was something I had not received before and made the whole experience an enjoyable one.I have had the pleasure of having David and Rashmi as my treating dentists and their professional patient centred approach to my treatment was fantastic. I changed to this dentist about 3 years ago after an awful experience at a previous dentist. I searched for a dental practice that genuinely cared and found Southport Road. Hands down the best dentist around, my dentist, Rashmi is so gentle and caring - she is reassuring and talks through everything she is doing. The hygienists are great too, never experienced any pain during any treatment. I recommend to anyone and everyone.

This must be my twentieth attempt to put into words how i felt after my sessions with Rashmi.When she showed me my smile, i laughed out loud with relief and joy, purely and simply to hide the fact that i could have honestly cried tears of happiness.i have lived in dread and fear for over forty five years, thanks to a horrific experience as a young man, and actively avoided dentists until my partner persuaded me to read about Rashmi and her wonderful approach to treating patients.I'm so glad i did, she has given me back not only a reason to smile but the teeth to smile with. i don't know what i expected to see in the mirror when she handed it to me, but the results are nothing short of perfection! Absolutely stunning! Just visited Southport Rd Surgery again as part of my on-going treatment plan. These people are great at what they do, they put you at ease and nothing is to much trouble. I've just received fairly extensive treatment, and again with none or very little pain.I know I will be a little sore when the anaesthetic wears off but who's not.Great job.x

Absolutely brilliant! Rashmi and her team took me from being an extremely nervous patient who would not even have a scale and polish without IV sedation and fear of the needle to having 6 extractions in one go with only the needle and no sedation! I cannot recommend them enough❤️

How many of us can honestly say we look forward to seeing our dentist?Well.. I can!!! We have so much fun!!! Yep, you have read this correctly. We have lots of fun and laughter and never a tear shed in pain.An amazing team await you at Southport Rd, everyone person you meet there makes you feel special and “ at home”.It’s true, I was a very nervous patient the first time I attended but I have honestly never looked back. The treatment and service is beyond perfection, everyone is amazing and such genuine and lovely folk too.It’s seldom you go to the dentist and hear giggles coming from the practice but it is a regular experience at this remarkable practice. . It really is Pain Free!! I can't recommend Rashmi and her team enough. I was so nervous about visiting the dentist. I was made to feel at ease throughout and had my treatment as planned. My fear of the dentist has now reduced massively. It is all down to how well you are treated at Southport Road Dental practice. I was looked after by Lindsey prior to my treatment and afterwards. I am extremely nervous of the dentist, I came yesterday to have root canal and other treatments done which was a very long appointment for someone who’s scared. I decided to be sedated and the experience was brilliant ( can’t remember much) I never thought I would have a laugh in the dentist whilst having a cannula done 😵💫 but everything was relaxed, cate and the dental nurse ( sorry can’t remember your name) you was both brilliant with me and made me feel so comfortable. I have a lot of anxiety about going to the dentist. A friend recommended Southport Road Dental. After the initial consultation, I was given a very clear treatment plan. The dentist, Cate, has been very patient with me, she helped me to remain calm. Cate went through every procedure with me on each visit. She would check I'm ok throughout the appointment. Each dental nurse I've had in the room has been very kind and supportive. Cate's kind, calm and professional approach helped to put me at ease and trust in her. after several appointments, my oral health is now back on track and I couldn't be more grateful. After years of hiding my teeth and hating myself in photos I took the plunge and went to david at southport road who really put me at ease. He gave me options, advised me on the best ways to straighten my smile and even put me at ease when I needed a small tooth extracted. One of my biggest worries!

Where do I start with Southport Road Dental Practice?
They are amazing! From start to finish! I used to be an extremely nervous patient but David reassured me that I had nothing to worry about! They were gentle and having the braces put on and removed didn’t hurt in the slightest. I’ve always hated my smile so I hid it for years but now I’ve had them straightened and whitened I can’t stop smiling!

Best Dentist I’ve ever been to! I felt really safe as they have given me emotional support as well. I had to have an emergency tooth extraction as my whole cheek was very swollen. They really made sure that I no longer feel anything before proceeding with the procedure. I didn’t even realise that the tooth was already out. Thank you very much Marc, and his assistant. I unfortunately didn’t get her name but she was a star as well, both of them were!

I was seen as an emergency. Bad infection and tooth needed removing. It was a little tricky to remove but Richa did an amazing job, put me at ease and was really reassuring and the reatment was pain free!! 😁 Richa and the dental assistant were both lovely and understanding didn't rush and listened to any worry i had. I have now booked in with Richa as a new patient. All staff I met in the practice from reception to treatment room fantastic. Thank you Southport Road Dental.

I hadn't been anywhere near a dentist since I was forced to go as a child. I dont know how I managed to go through my 20's and 30's without problems with my teeth, they were lovely and clean with no fillings. My gums however where not doing so well, I used to spit large amounts of blood when I cleaned my teeth but just chose to ignore it.

This dental practice and not only saved me losing my teeth but has changed my outlook on my oral health and general well being.

I couldn't thank David and the team enough for transforming my smile and (not to sound dramatic) but my life too! I've honestly not stopped smiling since and having straight teeth has made me feel so much more confident in myself.

I cannot recommend Southport Road Dental enough, they are outstanding. Very professional, modern high quality dentistry & pain free. Met David and Rashmi about 10 years ago and they treated me then with a very personal and caring approach. Before I met Rashmi I hadn't been to a dentist in over 4 years. Due to my strong gagging reflex and an extreme nervousness: the idea of going to a dentist was simply not something I could comprehend. However having waited in the waiting room at the surgery in the past; so knowing a bit about it and feeling relatively OK in the surgery and knowing they dealt with extremely nervous patients, I decided to give it a try. I'm really pleased that I did. The treatment I got from and continue to get from Rashmi and the entire team is simply amazing. I am still nervous but I trust her and the team implicitly. She worked with me; talked me through everything and alleviated my fears as much as she was able to; without me feeling judged. The whole team is friendly and welcoming and it is just a wonderful practice. It is not a practice that feels clinical, which to me helped enormously but at the same same the work is done to the highest level. I would highly recommend the whole team but especially Rashmi. I am very nervous about going to the dentist but I had to go as I was in pain. My husband and I did our research and Southport Road Dental scored highly on the satisfaction scale. I was helped with my anxiety and my treatment went very well. Rashmi and Lyndsay couldn't have looked after me better, they are a great team. I’ve never been so happy with my smile !! I had my teeth straightened, whitened and I had 2 teeth removed and felt absolutely nothing! I was so scared and nervous about having teeth removed but David make me feel so comfortable and reassured me I would be ok and I was. I can’t believe I’m saying this but if I needed another tooth taken out I wouldn’t think twice about it now ! I am absolutely over the moon that I chose Southport Road Dentist for Root Canal and Crown. I was really nervous about having such work done as only had ever had a filling before. I am always extremely impressed by the very attentive staff at Southport Road. Throughout life I have been an extremely anxious patient but at Southport Road I am always treated with the utmost care. The staff never rush me and are keen to explain and take the time needed to give me the confidence to proceed with treatment. Linzi, one of the nurses, recently assisted Alice, one of the dentist's, when I needed impressions for whitening my teeth. Thanks so much to both of them for their kindness and patience throughout. I cannot recommend Southport Dental enough. I’ve had a lot of work done, including tooth removal, bone grafts and implants. Everything was explained beforehand and throughout and everybody made me feel at ease. I was very nervous when I first stared going so I was sedated for some of the work but after a few treatments I was able to have the rest of the work done without sedation. Thank you to David for his amazing work, he really is a genius! And thank you to the very kind dental nurse who held my hand when I needed it! You guys have done incredible work and made me very happy. Thank you.

Wow! I had two wisdom teeth removed and was very nervous having been told it’s a major job. Well what a load of tosh. I didn’t feel a thing and it was over quickly. The only nerves I felt were in my head, not my mouth! Totally pain free. Can't thank the team here at Southport rd dental practice enough, id had a really bad time loosing 3 teeth in the space of 9 months due to a difficult extraction which left me with nerve damage and in chronic pain. I'd lost all faith in dentists until I was recommended by a friend to try here, they have not only restored my mouth and given me my smile back but they have also restored my faith in dentists, they are a fabulous talented amazing team, can't thank them enough.

Initially I went to SRD to have my teeth straightened, I was so pleased with the results and treatment that I received that I registered myself and my husband with the practice for all of our dental care. Thanks to David I am no longer conscious about the appearance of my teeth; he has restored my smile and I am thrilled to bits. Tonight I had my first check up and hygienist appointment. I am amazed at the level of care and high standard of treatment that I received. Everything was thoroughly explained and I did not feel anything during my treatment with the hygienist. Having a cleft palate and, as a result my jaws cut to bits/resectioned amongst other things, I *have* to have a good dentist. It's like the NHS handed me this £x00,000 piece of art - and I'm totally not to be trusted to look after it! I've seen David for years and every single element of my dental health is meticulously monitored and managed. But this dedication applies across the entire team - there's no panic if David isn't available, as Rashmi is perfectly happy picking up any dramas and handles them just as professionally. Supported by the amazing Reception and admin teams nothing is ever a crisis. I cannot speak highly enough of them in keeping my expensive work-of-art in top condition.
But also the dedication and attention to detail from the Hygienists is amazing. I've had *many* dental cleans in my life, but Michelle is absolutely *incredible* and the best ever. She works so hard and meticulously goes over every very single one of my weird and dodgy cracks-and-crevices and owns the entire cleaning process with me - you come back with serious homework to undertake between visits, and that suits me absolutely. Do not ever let Michelle leave! 😍
Hopefully, with the help of everyone at SRD my NHS £x00,000 investment will remain in excellent condition to my end-of-days ... I wouldn't trust anyone else! 💞

Absolutely brilliant . Fitted me in as an emergency when my usual dentist couldn't.
Lovely receptionist , very kind as I was feeling sick due to dental abscess. Dentist explained everything / didn't feel a thing , even injection as he used numbing gel prior to injection. I cannot believe the difference going to this dentist has made to me, when I initially attended to discuss a possible brace i basically had a meltdown a tooth had fallen out and i just didn't know what to do i was truly unhappy with the appearance of my teeth and didn't feel that would change , I also hadn't found a dentist who I felt was really helping me ...A year later and I've just had my brace taken off and I'm a truly different person because of it. Dr David Hickey and all the amazing staff have been friendly, supportive , informative and helpful ...I wouldn't dream about going anywhere else now and recommend this practice to everyone. Thank you so much to David and team for totally tranforming my teeth in less than a year. I unfortunately cracked my teeth as a child and spent all my teens hating them. The top right picture is before, then with my clear braces (which nobody could tell), after they came off and finally after composite bonding to fix the 2 front teeth. I first went to Southport Road Dental a year ago after my own NHS Dental receptionist told me I couldn't be seen about a cracked tooth one Friday morning because I wasn't in pain, but I should ring after the weekend to be triaged!
I was drawn to them because of the 'painfree' aspect and I've found that they certainly live up to it.
I usually see Alice and she always puts me at ease. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming and I'd recommend this practice to anyone and it's definitely worth the trip from Southport to me!

My appointments have been handled with professionalism, empathy and care. I have felt in control at all times and have full confidence in their handling of my treatments.
I still have a way to go to get my smile at its best but I'm a lot closer than I was last month!

I cannot recommend Southport road dental practice enough, What an amazing team you all are, from the day i walked in 12 months ago, feeling very very nervous and anxious, all the staff made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The receptionists, nurses, hygienists are all wonderful, Thank you Gonzalo for all your hard work and patience, David for your wonderful work giving me the smile i have always wanted and all pain free, what more could you ask for. Always been really anxious about visiting dentists but had a emergency tooth took out few months ago (first ever took out) and it's made me not scared to visit the dentists anymore! ☺️ would highly recommend to anyone.

If your fear of visiting a dentist takes over your life. If you are too embarrassed to smile. If you are too afraid to brush your teeth in case you lose some of your teeth. If people look at the state of your mouth rather than look at you when you 'have' to talk to someone. If you fear you will get a lecture from the dentist when you've plucked up courage to think about booking an appointment. WORRY NO MORE THIS IS THE SURGERY TO GO TO ASAP. That's me above ! I wouldn't even smile on our daughter's wedding day for the photos !! I beg you to see these wonderful people. I'm NOT a family member or close family friend, I'm an extremely anxious person as far as dental treatment is concerned. 22nd July 2016 I had every tooth PAINLESSLY numbed and spent at least 45 mins in the hygienists chair listening to my music through their headphones so I couldn't hear the tools being used ! I then spent another 40 mins or so with Rashmie (David's wife) planning treatment and having rays. I didn't feel a thing - not even my nose !!! Please don't fear the dentist anymore, I'm not saying my fear has completely disappeared as I'm having 6 teeth removed this Friday and never had that under local so yes, I'm afraid of the unknown I'm only human after all, but I know for certain that every appointment after that will be a doddle (and when & if ever necessary again for whatever reason TOTALLY PAIN FREE). I know for sure that when I've paid off my bill I will get my husband off his NHS dentist's list straight to Southport Dental practice, these are the caring non judgemental people you need and want to look after your smile - if you don't have one, you will have soon, just like I will ☺

I can't recommend this dental practice highly enough. All the staff are lovely and welcoming, which immediately reduces stress levels! My dentist, Gonzalo, is absolutely fantastic- very professional, meticulous attention to detail and a warm, empathic manner. The recent extraction I had was completely pain and trauma free. After a number of unpleasant experiences at other dental practices in the area, I think I'm finally regaining my trust in the dental profession!

I have been in Show business nearly 40 years (good grief, that long !!) I sing, so need my teeth to look as good and white as possible, I have previously had two excellent dentist, one when I was young and a Harley street Specialist. I found David on the internet, and am I pleased, Over the years I have had all kinds of procedures to my teeth and gums more root canals than I have roots and Brunel would have been amazed at my bridge work. However the passage of time meant I needed major repair work done, and wow although I am still having treatment, I am totally impressed with the work done. Nothing is too much trouble and pain free is the truth. Implants, easy, no pain........and I can smile again. So if you are looking to find the perfect answer to any dental problems, look no further, you have found the best. If this sounds over the top, quite right, you will not find better. thank you, very very much.

Can't recommend Southport Road Dental practice highly enough....Rashmi and David are a brilliant team and their patience is astonishing. From someone thoroughly traumatised following a car accident, and needing dental work, they were fantastic to me from beginning to end and I now have a lovely new crown. I hadnt been to the dentist for 35 years. I became determined and saw this practice on line as good for dealing with nervous patients. After the first visit as was so surprised at how lovely they all are, patient, caring and not rushed. After a couple of visits I had 2 teeth removed. Without sedation. I will be going back. They are amazing and I will continue to recommend them x

Exceptional Dentists. Had fair amount of work done by the team here over the years including a crown and a root canal and never once had any pain or discomfort. Staff are always friendly even if I do get told off for my lack of / poor flossing regime 😉 Highly recommended.
